Frank Stamberg, 58, of Sheephill Road, was arrested and charged with assault Thursday, Jan. 25 after police said he struck another person in the mouth who was experiencing withdrawal symptoms, police said.
The two had reportedly been arguing about the victim's drug use leaving Stamberg with a swollen knuckle and the victim with a bloody mouth, police said.
The victim was transported to Greenwich Hospital for treatment. Stamberg was charged and released on a summons to appear in court at a later date.
